Lagers & Pale Ales
These easy drinking session beers work well with, or without food. Characterized by mild hop bitterness,
flavour, and aroma. Typically light to medium body with low malt aroma.
CHAMBAR ALE - Floral I.P.A. with a long hoppy finish. By Storm. (draught) 30 cl 8.5% $6
STELLA ARTOIS - An every day affair. Crisp & clean. Golden and fresh. (draught) 33 cl 5.2% $6
LA BELGE - Amber in colour, unfiltered, subtle bitterness and average spiciness. 25 cl 5.0% $8
PALM - Slightly sweet, clear amber colour with a touch of apricot and malt. 33 cl 5.5% $8.5
Witbier
Typically made with unmalted wheat, Belgian wheat beers are known for their pale golden colour with an
unfiltered cloudy hue. They often have citrus and coriander on the nose and a velvety consistency.
HOEGAARDEN - Grapefruit and white pepper on the nose with hint of cloves. (draught) 33 cl 5.0% $6
CELIS WHITE - Hazy straw colour. Toffee and bread on the nose, hints of banana. 25 cl 5.0% $8
TROUBLETTE - Higher carbonation with a dry finish. Muted cardamom aroma. 33 cl 5.0% $9
WITTEKERKE - Oats give unique silkiness, earl grey and orange peel bouquet. 33 cl 5.0% $9
Blonde Ales
Lightly malted ales that appear golden in colour and sweet on the nose. Low hoppiness, smooth to drink
with a long sweet finish.
LEFFE - Round and soft, this abbey ale smells of toasted malt and honey. (draught) 33cl 6.6% $7
VAL-DIEU BLONDE - Burnt orange aroma with above average esthery feel on the back palate. 33 cl 6.0% $10
BINCHOISE BLONDE - Opaque with a citrus and ripe melon nose. Long honey finish. 33 cl 6.5% $10.5
SAXO BLOND - Bright Curacao aromas with a velvety mouth feel. 33 cl 7.5% $10.5
Strong Golden Ales
Belgian strong ales are pale to golden in colour with a relatively light body for a beer of its alcoholic strength.
Often brewed with light coloured Belgian "candy" sugar, these beers are easier drinking than you'd expect.

Trappiste
Widely considered to be the best Belgian beers, Trappist beers are brewed in monasteries by Monks. They are
all bottle conditioned, making them the richest and most flavourful beers, and were said to be "all one needs".
CHIMAY BLUE - Smells of jasmine & apples. Slightly bitter hazelnut finish. Awesome. 33cl 9.0% $10.5
CHIMAY RED - Densely compacted aroma of caramel & roasted nuts. Minerally. 33cl 7.0% $10.5
CHIMAY WHITE - Floral with muscat grapes & almonds. Long, balanced finish. 33 cl 8.0% $10.5
ROCHEFORT 8 - Starts with raisins and figs, concludes with bread, carob and coffee. 33cl 9.2% $10.5

Tripels
These pale to light coloured ales are bottle conditioned and fermented three times for a light, champagne-like
carbonation. Characterized by a complex, mild spicy character. Slightly sweet finish, fades slowly.
BORNEM TRIPEL - Dried chamomile smell, perfect sweet„bitter balance, malty finish. 33 cl 9.0% $10
PETRUS GOUDEN TRIPEL - Hazy golden straw colour. Pears & lychees on the nose. 33 cl 7.5% $10
VAL-DIEU TRIPEL - Rich, creamy mouth feel. Long, slightly bitter finish. 33 cl 9.0% $10
TRIPEL KARMELIET - Apricot & dried mango nose. The benchmark Belgian Tripel. 33 cl 8.0% $10.5
Strong Dark Ales
Belgian dark strong ales are deep reddish brown in colour. Ranging from medium to full bodied, they will be
slightly sweet and quite rich with a nutty or coffee finish. Look for dried fruit and intense flavours.
BORNEM DUBBEL - Honey & bitter yeast. Finishes dry with coffee essences. 33 cl 8.0% $10

GULDEN DRAAK - Concord grapes & plums up front with a port like finish. Intense. 33 cl 10.5% $10.5

Lambics & Sour Ales
Not for the faint of heart, these beers are all aged in oak to get a rare sour finish. They will walk the fine line of
sweet, tart and dry, often resulting in thirst quenching satisfaction. Some are rested with macerated fruit.
KRIEK - Rested with sour cherries. Clean, tart and refreshing. (draught) 25 cl 5.5% $7
PETRUS AGED PALE - Citrusy & tart with odd touch of balsamic, mild carbonation. 33 cl 7.2% $10
PETRUS OUD BRUIN - Aged in oak - slightly sour, vinous taste with a nutty finish. 33 cl 5.5% $10
