Cafe Medina is our daytime counterpart serving breakfast lunch and arguably the best coffee in Vancouver.

Sister to neighboring night time hot spot Chambar, Medina is a quaint café serving connoisseur-savvy coffee, Belgian waffles for sweet sustenance and a full breakfast, lunch, and brunch menu comprised of eclectic dishes created by co-owner and chef, Nico Schuermans.

Named after the second holiest city next to Mecca, meaning vibrant, radiant city, this little room is one of the city’s most stylish additions. Designed by co-owner Karri Schuermans, Medina was conceived with the purpose of doubling as a high-end private dining room in the evening.

Outfitted using green building materials including an exceptional recycled glass bar top and palm wood paneling, Medina has all the makings for a stylish, warm, modern bistro café.

Café Medina was designed for use as a private dining room in the evening. Best suited for groups of 8 to 26 people, this is the perfect spot for those with an appreciation of good food who seek an intimate dining experience.

Dinner
Catered by sister restaurant Chambar but housed in the European styled room of Medina, private dinners can be from 3 to 7 course meals that can be paired with wines or Belgian beer. For pricing and bookings please contact info@chambar.com

Daytime
Private daytime events can be held in our new private day room, lit by 9-foot windows and overlooking Vancouver’s False Creek. Daytime events can accommodate up to 15 people and can include our signature waffles, cast iron creations and delicate coffees. Our day room is also designed for presentations and corporate gatherings, with full drop-down screen and slideshow capabilities.
Cocktails and Canapes 
Host a cocktail party for up to 60 people at Café Medina, featuring a selection of canapés from Chambar’s award winning kitchen and cocktails and wines by the glass.
